6 out of 8!
We're kicking off 2020 with some validation! According to this article from Better Homes & Gardens these are the top kitchen trends for 2020;
1. Mix-and-match lighting
2. Beautiful Blues
3. Brass Accents
4. Colorful Ranges
5. Custom Storage Solutions
6. Updated Shaker Style
7. Integrated Appliances
8. Warm wood grains
In a recent kitchen makeover our design nailed 6 out of 8 of these trends!
Our lighting choices are similar but not exactly the same. They all have elements of black, brass and glass.
We chose a beautiful blue color for the island. Bonus - love the way the brass pulls pop!
Brass is incorporated thorough out this design in the drawer and door pulls, and the lighting.
This unused corner was turned into a coffee bar with storage underneath.
Updated shaker style
The cabinets with the recessed panel and seeded glass panels are a great example of the updated shaker style cabinet.
Warm wood grains
The wood finish open shelving helps break up all the white and warms up the space.
While all these design choices are "on trend" they are also classics that will last for years. That my friends, is how we do it!
